Founded in 2003 by Rich & Michelle Wollmann Norwalk Furniture Gallery (NFG Home & Design) started out as a shop at home window covering
business, Affordable Blinds & Shutters. In 2013 we expanded our business and opened our first brick and mortar location, Accent Window Coverings & Home Interiors in Northwest Reno. It became rapidly apparent that we needed more space to really show off the exclusive and unique home furnishings that we have to offer. With over 5,300 square feet in our newest showroom space located in south Reno, Norwalk Furniture Gallery offers an exceptional variety of top quality home furnishings, accessories, bedding, lighting, floor coverings, and window coverings. We continue to be your one-stop shopping source for all your home furnishing needs.

Meet Our Interior Designer
Michelle Wollmann
As the founder of Norwalk Furniture Gallery, I have an extensive background in home furnishings. My career started in 1990 as a manufacturer’s representative in the home furnishings industry. I covered a large territory, helping my retailers select the most fashion forward products for their showrooms. In 1996, I took a position as a national sales manager for one of the vendors that I represented. I was in charge of our sales force of over 200 reps nationwide. I grew the company by hiring designers and sourcing and manufacturing products from all over the world. In September of 2001, I was at a trade show in Boston, MA. At the time I was living in Los Angeles, CA and was scheduled to fly home on Tuesday 9/11. My flight was to be United 175. I thankfully missed my flight that morning. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think of all of those that were not as fortunate as I. I drove across the country to get home that next day. It was during that drive that I decided that I had to leave the company for a career that wouldn’t take me away from home as much. I worked from home for the next couple of years and then in October 2003, my husband and I moved to Reno and started our business here. Your complete satisfaction is my primary goal.
